A New Beginning Thanks to Second Life

SNAP appreciates a recent grant courtesy of Second Life Upscale Thrift Store of Atlanta in the amount of $250.  Second Life’s donation allowed us to help three very special animals:

  • Rae is a buff-colored love bug who won’t quit purring..and has a bob tail.  She was rescued from a trailer park where SNAP helps manage the feral colony.  Second Life’s donation covered the cost of Rae’s spay and all necessary vetting.  Rae is ready to meet her forever family thanks to Second Life’s help.
  • Fawn is a lovely, fully-vetted six month old puppy who was rescued with her mother, Foxy.  Second Life’s generous donation made spaying Fawn possible, and covered all of Fawn’s vetting, too.  Fawn is now ready to be placed with a foster family for socialization.  If you can help, please contact snap@comcast.net.
  • Jenny Lynn is a tiny gray tabby who was rescued at a Fire Department! Because of Second Life’s help, we were able to spay Jenny Lynn and get her ready for adoption by bringing her up to date on all vaccinations and tests.  She went home with her forever mother last weekend.

Please remember Second Life for all your gently used items.  They have a truly amazing mission – to help support organizations who support animals – so we’d like to encourage all SNAP supporters to both donate to them, and visit them to shop.
