SNAP Adoptions for Homeless Pets
In addition to our rescue and Trap Spay/Neuter Release (TNR) and education programs, SNAP is proud to offer our adoption services dedicated to finding deserving homeless pets forever homes.
By Georgia law and our own policies, all SNAP pets are spay/neutered before becoming available for adoption. Additionally, as of August 2012, all SNAP adopted animals are microchipped as part of our standard adoption fees – a substantial savings for those considering adoption or purchase of a pet.
All SNAP cats and kittens are screened and tested for Feline Leukemia, Feline Aids, and dewormed, deflead and vaccinated according to their age requirements. All SNAP dogs, puppies and other animals are screened and tested for heartworms and also vaccinated according to their age requirements.
We charge adoption fees to help cover the cost of mandated spay/neuter procedures, testing, vaccinations, and the substantial costs associated with saving the lives of these deserving homeless pets.
Cat or Kitten – $100
Dog or Puppy – $150
