ADOPTED! Chester

Chester

Lab Mix

8-10 years old

Oh, hello!  I nearly didn’t see you there.  I was just looking out the window, imagining my very own home, with my very own bed, and my very own family to love.

Let me paint you a picture (so sue me, I’m a very artistic dog).  You and I would go on long, rambling walks through the woods together, me bounding along like the adorable, nature-loving pup I am, you with a pocket full of treats.  (Treats for me.  Just so we’re clear.)  Suddenly, I would spot a squirrel yonder!  I would go tearing after it, filled with tail-wagging, paw-thumping, squirrel-chasing joie de vivre.  And look!  A lovely mud puddle to roll in!  Finally, you would catch up with me, and I would give a full-body, Muddy Dog Shake™ just inches away from your new jacket.  Oh, how we’d laugh (once you’d finished swearing under your breath).  And then you’d give me some more treats.  (Did I say some more?  I meant lots more.)

If you gaze into my soulful, chocolate brown eyes, you’ll see that you won’t meet a dog more loyal or affectionate than I am.  In fact, I get along well with every species I meet, whether canine, feline, human, or squirrel.  Please adopt me, and turn the dreams of this family-loving, mud-puddling pup into reality!
