Sweet Jacqueline was rescued at a very private time in a girl’s life: while she was giving birth to a litter of kittens! Unfortunately, because Jacqueline was not well-nourished and sheltered, the kittens did not survive. But the nice lady who found Jacqueline made sure that she got to a safe place.
Despite that sad beginning, Jacqueline has flourished at her foster mother’s home. Jacqueline has a white chest, white paws, and white whiskers. Jacqueline (her friends call her Jax) has earth-toned regions of fur on her back and head that are tabby-like, with white and dark brown stripes. Her large green eyes tilt up at the corner, and watch you wherever you go. Jax’s nose is pale brown, and her brown tail is stripe-y! When we visited her foster mother’s to take her picture, she trailed us from room to room, always watching, and stretching in delight when we spoke to her or petted her. Jacqueline is a very accomplished hostess.
We think this lovely girl is only about a year old. She gets along with other animals, including dogs. She is reserved and doesn’t demand a lot of attention…but she really loves it! Because of this, she could be the perfect match in any number of situations: as an only cat, an addition to a household that already has pets, or a companion for a more demanding cat. If she is a single pet, we expect that she might come out of her shell a little and be more outgoing. Like all SNAP animals, Jacqueline is spayed, up to date on all shots and tests, and microchipped.
