Hi! My name is Janet. I am a little over a year old and really hoping I get to meet my forever family soon! My brothers and I were named for the Jackson 5. My foster mom likes to call me JJ for short sometimes. She is so silly!

I thought that I had found my forever home a few months ago but that lady I loved so much decided that she didn’t have time for me after all. I got a little sick and needed her help but she gave me away. That made me sad because I had tried very hard to be a good girl. Anyway, the nice people who took care of me for a little while called the rescue. Some people from the rescue flew all the way to Florida on a big airplane to pick me up. Wow! This really nice director lady took me to a doctor when we got home. I did have to have two teeth pulled but that made me feel a lot better. The part that made me super happy was my foster mommy who used to take care of me when I was a baby came to pick me up at the director lady’s house. I am with her now. She says not to worry. No one can even tell those two teeth are missing; I am still gorgeous! She says I will be just fine with regular dental cleanings and good food.

I am one of those special kitties who just wants to show my humans how much I love them. I give sweet little head butts and cheek rubs to let them know how special they are to me. I always greet my foster mom at the door to say “Hi” when she comes home. I am sure to stay close by her side to let her know I am here if she needs anything. After all, that’s what friends are for, right?! One of my favorite things is when she sits down and lets me jump on her lap for some cuddles. I purr super loud to let her know how happy I am. She says I sound just like a little panther…so cool! I am a young kitty who will definitely light up my family’s life with joy. Come on out and meet me ; lots of sweet purrs are waiting!
