Hi! My name is Willow. I am the mother of the Von Trapp kittens.  My foster mom wanted to name me Maria but another cat at our rescue already had that name and I needed one of my own. She decided to take a line from the song “How Do You Solve a Problem like Maria?” that was sung in the Sound of Music movie. You know, “a flibbertigibbet, a willow-the-wisp, a clown”. My name suits me perfectly because I am a gentle, beautiful little lady. I am a very good mommy to all six of my kittens. I enjoy quietly watching their silly antics and am always here if they need a little attention or reassurance. It is so nice when my foster mom comes into our room. I always greet her by walking over to her and rubbing up against her legs. I am very happy to sit beside her when she plays with my kittens. I nuzzle my head against her hand when she pets me to show I love her too. As you can see in my pictures, I am playful. I enjoy exploring all the toys in our room when I am not busy with the babies. I have been taking care of my little ones for quite a while. I would really like to be part of a loving family that will take care of me now. I am available for pre-adoption only.  I need a few more weeks to take care of my babies making sure they are strong and healthy. Would you like to meet me? I would love to meet you!
