Meow and welcome! I am Kitsi the Kittycat. My name, “Kitsi,” means “tickle” in Tibetan, and once I get to know you a little better, I’ll happily accept all the tickles you’re willing to offer. And all the pats. And all the tummy rubs. And all the treats. Anyone who earns my trust is richly rewarded, because I’m very sweet-natured and friendly. And if you’re looking for a guard kitty, then I’m your girl: I’m super vigilant, just like a meerkat.
Have you met my brother, Zig? Our human passed over Rainbow Bridge recently and we both miss him. But we’re looking forward to meeting our new furever family, too. We could be adopted separately if necessary, but we’re hoping to find a home together, because we’re two peas in a pod. We are panther partners in crime, and we like to go on important missions together, such as sitting in bowls. We’re also very talented at guarding the kitchen table. We even look alike: we both have soft, fluffy black coats and stunning green eyes. (Shhh… a secret way to tell us apart is our tails. If you look carefully, you’ll see that Zig’s is pointy at the tip and mine is more rounded.) We have always been indoor cats, but we wouldn’t mind exploring the great outdoors, as long as you bring us up-to-date on any shots we’ll need and keep an eye on us.
Zig and I are creatures of habit: we split one can of food every single morning (the gravy kind is our favorite!) and enjoy regular dry food for the rest of the day. We also like to kick back with a hit of catnip in the afternoon. We are very smart and respond to our names. We also understand the most essential word in the English language, which is “treats.” We promise to love you forever if you give us handful of Temptations. In fact, we promise to love you forever either way!
Kitsi will be great in any type of home including with older children and small dogs. She has no special needs and will make a very special addition to the family.
Like all SNAP pets, Kitsi is spayed, up to date on shots and vaccinations, and micro-chipped. And ready to meet you at one of our adoption centers or by special appointment.
If you are interested in finding out more about Kitsi, fostering or adoption, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org . You can also apply for adoption online.
