Blue Russian/Tabby Mix
Greetings! My name is Lady Gray. Some people might think that I got my name because I am (a) gray and (b) a lady. But they would be wrong. The truth is that I’m called Lady Gray because I’m so regal and elegant and exquisite. I think I might even be an aristocat, descended from European nobility. No one has confimed this yet, but I am teaching myself French just in case someone offers to take me to Paris someday. I am also learning to play the harp and to walk around while balancing a book on my head, which seem like regal and elegant and exquisite things that a Lady like me should be able to do.
I recently read in a book (after it fell off my head) that a Lady should always be well dressed. I think I’ve got that covered, because I always wear a satin-soft gray coat and I never go out without making sure my whiskers are nicely groomed. I am also declawed, because my previous owner was afraid that I might scratch the furniture. But I would never have done that, because it wouldn’t have been a very regal and elegant and exquisite thing to do.
I’d prefer my new kingdom not to have a dog in it, because I am quite refined and dogs are not. Small children are also unrefined, and sometimes sticky, but I wouldn’t mind co-governing my realm with some calm older children, as long as they were well behaved with nicely-groomed whiskers like mine. Above all, I am very sweet and loving, and I am hoping to share my domain with people who are lovely and kind. My book says that loveliness and kindness are the height of etticat (which is etiquette for cats).
Lady Gray will be great in any type of home including with older children and small dogs. She has no special needs and will make a very special addition to the family.
Like all SNAP pets, Lady Gray is spayed, up to date on shots and vaccinations, and micro-chipped. And ready to meet you at one of our adoption centers or by special appointment.
