Many times in life, mystery and mischief go hand-in-hand…and in the case of the two SNAP gorgeous black sister kitties, they are inseparable! Mystery and Mischief are identical twin sisters, impossible to tell apart, with silken black fur and wide green eyes. Their mother was rescued by SNAP volunteers when she was abandoned, pregnant, at a colony that the volunteers regularly feed. Her kittens were also taken in by SNAP and are looking for their perfect homes.
Mystery and Mischief are nearly the same in temperament – slightly reserved, curious, easy to get along with, connoisseurs of fine cat toys – except that Mischief is a little cuddlier and purrs more than Mystery (as you might expect from their names!). They have wide green eyes with a bright ring of emerald green around the pupil, surrounded by a pale gold green. Their thick black fur has a few scattered sprinkles of white, and long white whiskers balance out their neat black triangle nose. They have precise pointy triangular ears, too, that perk up when something catches their eye.
Mystery and Mischief’s brother, Monito, has already been adopted, so now it’s their turn! The girls will be a year old in early May. Even though they would be a marvelous pair for someone interested in adopting multiple cats, they function well enough apart to go to separate families, too. They get along well with other cats, although they whispered to us that they might be shy (they call it mysterious) at first.
Like all SNAP kitties, Mystery and Mischief are neutered, up to date on shots and vaccinations, and micro-chipped. Because they are a year old, both of them are just $50! ($25 each). In mid April, Mystery is at the Howell Mill & I-75 PetSmart adoption center, so you can stop by and say hello. If you’d like to meet both girls together, please email SNAP to set up a play date, or pre-apply to adopt them online.
