Tortoise shell/Calico Mix
Hello, my name is Mo. What’s yours?
I’m a three year old tortoise shell-calico mix kitty with white paws and a white tummy. If you’re reading this, I’m guessing that you’re a person. Because I’d like to be adopted into a nice home, I’d like to tell you something about myself.
First of all, my foster mom says I’m like a puppy in a lot of ways. Unlike most of the cats you probably know, I love being scratched on my tummy! I also like having my ears rubbed.
For quite a while, I lived with a colony of feral cats. They were very nice but I’ve had enough of living outdoors. Right now, I’m getting used to living in a house with all its different sounds, and sights, and smells. I’m very happy to be here because I need a safe, quiet, indoor place to live. Once I find my forever home, I can relax and be affectionate to the people who adopt me.
I love to sit quietly in sunny places and watch the world around me. I really like snuggling up close to my foster mom and sitting on her lap. Would you let me do that with you?
My foster mom wants me to tell you that I’m spayed, have all my shots, and had my monthly Advantage treatments (protects against fleas, heartworm, etc.) for two years. So, you can be sure I’m healthy.
If you do take me home, I hope you’ll be patient as I get adjusted to my new surroundings. If you have kids, please ask them to let me get used to them before they pick me up. I need to warm up to people so it’s probably best if you let me come to you. I suppose you’d have to say I’m a quiet, gentle cat looking to live with quiet, gentle people.
Finally I’d like to say that I don’t have any experience living around dogs so I don’t know if I’d like them. I do like other cats so if you have any I will fit right in.
If you want a low-key, loving, affectionate companion to be your indoor cat, I’m yours! Just ask for Mo! I’ll be waiting.
Mo will be great in any type of home including with older children and small dogs. She has no special needs and will make a very special addition to the family.
Like all SNAP pets, Mo is spayed, up to date on shots and vaccinations, and micro-chipped. And ready to meet you at one of our adoption centers or by special appointment.
