A Jungle Book Jumble of Kittens!

We have for adoption a litter of six kittens, each one named for a character in Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book,” the children’s classic that served as the inspiration for Disney film of the same name or the film, “The Lion King. “

Each of the kittens is unique but they all share not only the willingness to give love and affection and playfulness you’d expect with such a super-charged active group but also the need for homes.

We hope you’ll select one of these little guys (or maybe two!) to be your own and to give them a forever home!

Hi, there! I’m Mufasa and I’m part of a “Jungle Book Jumble of Kittens” available for adoption!

I’m a male kitten named for the King of the Pridelands in the Disney film, “The Lion King.” Although I have the blood of fierce, proud, lion kings running through my veins, I’m really just a sweet, playful kitten looking for a home. I have a lot of energy and need a companion to play with.

Right now, I get lots of companionship from my sister and four brothers. In the future, I hope you’ll be my playmate and my best friend!

If you’re looking for a cute, playful, and cuddly kitten — or more than one! – remember the name Mufasa. I’ll be waiting for you to share a forever home with me.

Mufasa has a slightly watery eye due to a blocked tear duct. He has been treated by an ophthalmologist, and this issue does not affect his sight. As a kitten, Mufasa had exposure to feline herpes, which is not as daunting as it sounds. It’s like people who have a cold sore. As one veterinarian put it: “The feline herpes virus is similar to the human cold sore virus in another respect. It’s ubiquitous. Every cat has it. Most kittens catch it from their mothers in the first weeks of life. Herpes-free cats really only exist in specific, pathogen-free research environments.” Mufasa needs a diet high in meat and possibly a little supplementation with l-lysine (a common amino acid). Lots of love and a stress-free environment will help him live his best life and bring you joy for years to come!

SNAP Recommends
Mufasa will be great in any type of home including with older children and small dogs. He has no special needs and will make a very special addition to the family.

Like all SNAP pets, Mufasa is neutered, up to date on shots and vaccinations, and micro-chipped. And ready to meet you at one of our adoption centers or by special appointment.
