A Jungle Book Jumble of Kittens!
We have for adoption a litter of six kittens, each one named for a character in Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book,” the children’s classic that served as the inspiration for Disney film of the same name or the film, “The Lion King. “
Each of the kittens is unique but they all share not only the willingness to give love and affection and playfulness you’d expect with such a super-charged active group but also the need for homes.
We hope you’ll select one of these little guys (or maybe two!) to be your own and to give them a forever home!
Hi! I’m Nala and I’m part of a “Jungle Book Jumble of Kittens” available for adoption!
I’m the only girl in our litter of six but just like my brothers, I’m very playful. I’m also tough and can hold my own with five rough ‘n tumble boys! My foster mom says I’m “super fun to play with.” I’ll provide the people at my forever home with hours of fun and excitement as well as loyalty and affection. NOTE: I’m very cuddly!
Just like in the movie, “The Lion King,” I’m my brother Simba’s best friend and I’m hoping we get adopted together. We’ll make a fun pair for anyone wanting to enjoy the antics of two loving and fun kittens.
Nala has a ‘milky’ eye due to her third eyelid not developing properly. She has been treated by an ophthalmologist, and while this issue affects her sight in that eye, it does not affect her spunky spirit! Nala’s eye issue developed due to exposure to feline herpes, which is not as daunting as it sounds. It’s like people who have a cold sore. As one veterinarian put it: “The feline herpes virus is similar to the human cold sore virus in another respect. It’s ubiquitous. Every cat has it. Most kittens catch it from their mothers in the first weeks of life. Herpes-free cats really only exist in specific, pathogen-free research environments.” Nala needs a diet high in meat and possibly a little supplementation with l-lysine (a common amino acid). Lots of love and a stress-free environment will help her live her best life and bring you joy for years to come!
If you want a couple of sweet kittens in your home, please think of us – Nala and Simba!
Nala will be great in any type of home including with older children and small dogs. She has no special needs and will make a very special addition to the family.
Like all SNAP pets, Nala is spayed, up to date on shots and vaccinations, and micro-chipped. And ready to meet you at one of our adoption centers or by special appointment.
