Newton

DOB 4/23/18

Hi! My name is Newton.  The lady who picked me up at Newton County Animal Control said she named me that because I came from that place.  However, I would like to believe it is because I am so smart just like the very wise Sir Issac Newton himself.  I was really glad that someone came to help me.   I was so scared at animal control that I cried really loud every time they  put me back in the cage! I just wanted to go home. However, I am a resilient boy so I waited until one of the nice people at the shelter made sure I found my way out for good.

My foster mom says I am “very smart and responsive to training”…you gotta love that lady, she really knows her cats!  Anyway, I am sort of like a dog (yikes, did I just say that?!) because I am friendly, affectionate, love everyone, and will even follow you around the house to hang out with you no matter where you go.  My favorite place to be is curled up in my human companion’s lap while my beautiful, long hair is being brushed (that sounds more cat-like, right?!).  I purr very loudly to let my special person know that I am just happy to be together.  Come and visit me soon; I cannot wait to meet my forever family!

SNAP Recommends

Newton will be great in a home including children or other cats/kittens. Given a proper introduction process, most cats do learn to get along very well with dogs and puppies as well. Newton has no special needs and will make a very special addition to the family.

Like all SNAP pets, Newton is neutered, up to date on shots and vaccinations, and micro-chipped.

Newton is ready to meet you by special appointment. If you are interested in finding out more about (name), fostering or adoption, please email us at  adoptions@snap2it.org . You can also apply for adoption online.
