What’s the one thing that can improve a relaxing soak in the tub after a long day?
Sharing your bath with this glorious kitty, of course! Our sweet boy Patrick is extra-special because he’s a Turkish Van, the famous “Swimming Cat.” You’ll make a friend for life simply by turning on the faucet or flushing the toilet for him. As well as their well-documented love of water, Vans are known to be particularly loyal and devoted to their humans, and Patrick is no exception. He’s a lap-cat in search of a lap! He loves attention, cuddles, and grooming. He’s happiest when he’s snuggled up beside (or ON) his special someone – and preferably that someone should have a brush in their hands.
With his super-soft coat and fluffy grey-and-white tail, Patrick’s sweet personality is complemented by his good looks and swimmer’s build. He asks that you please give him a chance despite his FIV+ status, because he intends to live a long and healthy life. In fact, Patrick already considers himself a very lucky cat, because he was saved from a high-kill shelter. He’s hoping that his winning streak will continue and that he’ll be adopted into a forever home of his very own soon. And no need to go out and buy a fancy cat fountain; Patrick will be happy just to visit you in the shower!
SNAP is more than happy to give you information on FIV and how to introduce an FIV+ cat to your home. Patrick would be a great addition to any home, so please fill out an application to meet the cool cat himself today! Below are a few links to read up on FIV and learn the joys that can come from adding an FIV+ feline to your family!
Patrick will be great in any type of home including with older children and small dogs. He will make a very special addition to the family.
Like all SNAP pets, Patrick is neutered, up to date on shots and vaccinations, and micro-chipped. And ready to meet you at one of our adoption centers or by special appointment.
