Peaches and Marlow

Grey Calico and Bombay

Age: 15-18 years old and 13-16 years old

Hello, everyone!  We are Peaches and Marlow, a bonded pair of female kitties.  I (Peaches) am a beautiful grey calico, and Marlow has a stunning black coat.  Our previous human adopted us as adults, so no one knows our exact ages, but it’s safe to say that we have plenty of life experience between us: I’m around 15-18 years young, and Marlow is a spring chicken of just 13-16 years old.  I still think of her as a kitten, though, and like to take care of her!  Our last owner moved house and couldn’t take us with her.  Luckily, our foster mom understands how much we depend on each other and how important it is that we stay together, so she kindly took both of us in.  Now we’d like a forever home all of our own, where we can spend our golden years as happy kitties.

We’re both excellent conversationalists, not only with each other, but also with you!  If you are retired or sometimes feel lonely, Marlow and I promise to cheer you right up by talking to you all the time.  Purrsonally, I like to follow you from room to room, and then lie down on the couch or bed with you and share my opinions on the day’s news.  I call it my daily Mews Report.  I love to be petted and sometimes I will even climb into your lap for extra snuggles.  Marlow says to tell you that she doesn’t like to be picked up (I don’t mind it too much, though), but like me, she’s very affectionate and has a sweet habit of meowing with excitement whenever you pet her.

Marlow and I are both indoor cats.  But if you are worried about your nice furniture, we can assure you that we won’t damage it because we have been front declawed (please don’t do that to any future kittens, though!  It’s not nice).  We love dry food, but we never overeat.  We should have access to dry food 24-7, please, because sometimes we take a few bites and think we’re finished, but then get hungry again a bit later.  We don’t care much for wet food, but we do like to lick the gravy or soup off the chunky parts and politely leave the rest for someone else.  We think we have excellent table manners.

We get along nicely with other cats and small dogs and people, so if you happen to live in a multi-animal and multi-human household, we would fit right in.  You’re sure to find us grooming each other and snuggling up in an adorable kitty cuddle puddle.  Marlow and I love each other very much, but if you were to adopt us, we have plenty of room in our hearts for you, too!
