Sadie…there have been many famous women of the same name. There was the educator and civil rights pioneer, Sadie Delany, and the famous actress, Sadie Frost. Well, our darling young Sadie is not famous. However, she is an extremely special girl worthy of celebrity status. Those spectacular green eyes will leave all who see her simply star struck!
Sadie was part of a feral colony; sick, pregnant, and in need of assistance. Our volunteers quickly realized that this was one unique little lady, kind and anxious to form a bond with her rescuers. Sadie has been a wonderful mommy to her four little babies. For three weeks, she stayed by their side 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. She finally allowed them to wander around the foster room when she knew they were capable and safe, going to them immediately if she heard any cries of distress. Sadie comes to her human foster mom for pets whenever she enters the room. Her favorite thing is gentle scratches toward the lower end of her back. She demonstrates her appreciation with soft little chirps and strutting close beside you. This loving mommy has earned the privilege of being part of a family who will take care of her for a lifetime reassuring her that she never has to survive on her own again. Will you meet Sadie today?
Sadie will be great in a home including children or other cats/kittens. Given a proper introduction process, most cats do learn to get along very well with dogs and puppies as well. Sadie will make a very special addition to the family.
Sadie will be spayed when she is no longer nursing her little Sweeties; Almond Joy, Snickers, Butterfinger, and Kit Kat. She will be caring for her babies for approximately three to four more weeks before she will be ready to go home. Sadie is up to date on shots and vaccinations as well as micro-chipped.
Sadie and the Sweeties are ready to meet you by special appointment. If you are interested in finding out more about Sadie, fostering or adoption, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org . You can also apply for adoption online.
