Sadie

Sadie

Terrier Mix

DOB 10/1/2017

Sweet Sadie was found dumped on a rural southern road and picked up by animal control and taken to a high kill shelter. She was so scared but after a day or two, the staff knew she was worth saving to give her a real life.

After weeks of networking, rescue stepped up for her on her last day. She was going to be killed. She needed vetting and she was low heartworm positive but the rescue knew that all that could be fixed.  She has gone through her treatment

And she is now ready for her new family!

Sadie is a very affectionate girl – about 1 year old perfect medium sized at 40 lbs. Sadie is great with dogs and adults and children. She is a strong puller on a leash so older children would do best for walking her.  She loves to play and will make a wonderful family member. We don’t know about cats.   She is very interested in everything and her nose hugs the ground when she walks. Many things she now experiences are new to her because we think she was not exposed to “life” as a puppy, but she has come around very quickly and loves it all.  She is house and crate trained and loves to play.  She also loves to crawl in your lap and just be your friend.  She will do well once she is secure with a family.

She is totally vetted, spayed and micro chipped, and she is ready to start her “new life!” Her best home would be with a dog friend and a fenced yard to play in.  Her smile and loving eyes will warm your heart!
