You know how some dogs look like they are smiling all the time? Meet Mac and Veroni, two sweet, goofy, playful shepherd boys. Mac and Veroni are mid-sized German shepherd mixes that were found abandoned by the side of the road in Rome, Georgia. Mac is the darker of the two brothers, with more traditional shepherd markings; Veroni is a warm yellow color.
These two brothers are exuberant, happy, and adore human company. They are happy to wrestle and tussle, play tug of war with toys, or just sit by your side (and always with a grin on their faces!) They are full of energy, and will need an environment where they can play and exercise frequently. A home with lots going on – like children to run and play with – would be ideal. We estimate them to be between 8 – 9 months old, which means they will not get much larger. They are currently living with a SNAP foster, and need to find their forever home. Although Mac and Veroni adore each other, they do not have to be adopted as a pair; they can go to separate homes.
Veroni is learning how to walk on a leash gradually, and will benefit from some loving attention in that area. All SNAP animals are fully vetted, neutered and micro chipped before adoption. If you’re interested, drop us a line to see how you can meet Mac and Veroni, or apply to adopt online.
