Black/ White Tuxedo
Meow and purr! I’m Star, a beautiful tuxedo kitty with the softest, shiniest fur and sweetest white mittens you’ve ever seen.
On a summer’s night in 2014, when I was just a tiny kitten and much too little to be separated from my mother, I was found abandoned at a gas station. It was a sad and scary time for me, and I don’t like to think about it too often. Luckily, my lovely foster mom rescued me and bottle-fed me until I grew up. She made sure I was well socialized from the very beginning: I was raised by a Yorkshire terrier mix and five foster cat moms (in addition to the human one). I loved playing with the other rescue foster kitties that my foster mom looked after and rehomed during my stay with her. As a result, I’m a laid back kitty and would thrive in any household.
Do you want to know a secret? I was actually adopted a few months ago. I was so excited at the idea of my very own forever home that I didn’t even mind that there was a large Pitbull mix already living there! (What can I say, I’m a chill kind of kitty.) I lived in my new home happily for a while, but then my new human decided she was tired of cleaning up my hairballs. Instead of brushing me or trying different food, she returned me to my foster home. I was sad and confused at first, but my foster mom said that if someone really loves me and wants me, they will make sure I am well taken care of and help me with my hairballs. I don’t want ever to have to find another temporary family, so I need someone who has some quality time to spend with me. Once you meet me, you’ll discover that I have oodles of love and affection to give. I think that’s a small price to pay for a hairball or two, don’t you? I’ll be wishing upon a Star that you take me home soon!
Star will be great in any type of home including with older children and small dogs. She has no special needs and will make a very special addition to the family.
Like all SNAP pets, Star is spayed, up to date on shots and vaccinations, and micro-chipped. And ready to meet you at one of our adoption centers or by special appointment.
