ADOPTED!!! Prankster Bonkers Livens Up Any Party: Adoptable Atlanta 7-mo Kitty

It’s pretty easy to go bonkers over Bonkers.  Bonkers, an orange tabby with glowing amber eyes, a peach nose, and long white whiskers has a captivating slapstick sense of humor that will keep you entertained.  His latest trick is that when his foster dad bends over, Bonkers hops up and does his best Low Rider imitation (you can see he looks pretty pleased with himself in the pictures).  Bonkers also likes to groom his humans – their hair, in particular – to help keep them nice and tidy.  He enjoys being the center of attention and is always glad to take a pratfall to get a laugh. This seven-month-old young man was rescued from a shelter when he was just a baby. We’ve included some baby pictures below so that you can see just how special he is.  Bonkers is very social and loves hanging out with people, other cats, and gets along fine with dogs.  He adores human interaction and eagerly joins in games (especially if they involve a moving feather), responds to your voice (even though he may ignore requests to stop with the grooming), and basically just wants to be part of the family. Even though Bonkers likes to play hard, his foster mother asked us to share that he is a gentle young man who understands that claws are not for scratching people!  Because Bonkers has shown himself to be gentle with young cats, dogs, and children, we think he would shine in a home with children who may be too young for a tiny kitten.  At 7 months, he’s the perfect age to become a little one’s new best friend.  Because Bonkers is so strongly social, we would prefer to place him in a home that has other animals. Bonkers is busy working on his next trick (he won’t tell us what it is), waiting to meet you and show it off.  Let us know when you’d like to get together!  This handsome young man is neutered, up to date on all shots and vaccinations, and microchipped.  You can also pre-apply to adopt him online. PS: Bonkers dug out this old video from when he was just a kitten. Wasn’t he cute!! (ADOPTED!) Tinker, Orange-on-Orange Fuzzy-Eared Kitten Seeks New Home in Atlanta

This handsome, frisky, young name is named Tinker.  He is a long haired Maine Coon / Forest Cat mix, with fur of multiple shades of orange.  His orange-on-orange markings ring his legs, dip downwards from his eyes, and circle his chest.  Tinker has long white whiskers and eyebrows, with warm peach paws and a peach nose.  He even has tufts of ear hair, the better to tickle him with.  Tinker is about 12 weeks old and like all curious kittens, enjoys watching the world with his deep amber eyes. He was rescued from animal control by a kind person who was sure that Tinker deserved a chance at life.  Tinker has grown into a typical kitten who likes cuddle and play, and then cuddle and play some more.  He’s very loving and enjoys his times with humans, and also gets along well with other cats.  His foster mother has a dog, too, and Tinker doesn’t mind the dog at all. If you’d like to meet Tinker, drop us a line.  You can also apply to adopt Tinker online.  He’s ready to join his forever home!  Like all SNAP animals, Tinker is neutered and update to date on all his shots. He is also...

ADOPTED!! Laid Back Orange Tabby Seeks New Home Roost: Adoptable Cat, Atlanta

Christian is a dignified, laid back orange tabby that was rescued from a trailer park north of Atlanta.  SNAP maintains a relationship with a number of locations that care for ferals, but when the colony caregiver spotted Christian, they knew that he wasn’t feral at all, but needed a permanent home.  Christian is about 4 months old. Christian has large, wide-set eyes that watch everything happening in the Howell Mill adoption center, where he currently lives.  He has distinctive, dark orange stripes around his neck, torso, and legs, as well as streaming from the corner of his amber eyes.  With his white whiskers and peach-toned nose, Christian would be the perfect addition to any household.  He is friendly, savors a good petting and a quiet conversation, and purrs quickly when humans pay attention to him. Christian also appreciates a good, comfortable lap and often sits quietly with our volunteers, enjoying their company. Christian can be adopted alone – he is very self-sufficient – but he also plays well with the other cats in the adoption center.  Although he is the largest male there, he is gentle with even the smallest kittens. You can meet Christian at the PetSmart Howell Mill adoption center off I-75 & Howell Mill, or drop us a line to get more details.  You can also apply to adopt Christian online.  He is neutered, up to date on all tests and immunizations, and...
