There is a significant amount of record keeping involved with the services SNAP provides. These include everything from documenting spay/neuter records for each pet as required by law, to keeping records of vaccinations, to the adoption process and background checks for each new prospective owner. Our work with feral cat colonies also requires significant documentation, as well as financial records such as tracking expenses for everything from gasoline to pet food and vet bills.
If you have any experience with bookkeeping, record keeping, data entry, or have worked in an office environment or as an office manager – or are simply organized – we could use your help in organizing and maintaining our records.
Increasingly updates can be done online or remotely through electronic records and software applications – anything from tracking animals and the adoption process to maintaining financial and other records.
SNAP is proud of our volunteers and the good service they do in helping deserving pets find forever homes.
SNAP is a non-profit 501c3 animal rescue organization dedicated to rescues, adoptions and spay and neutering programs for Atlanta-area pets. See more about us here or follow us on Facebook for the latest updates on SNAP people, pets and adoption news.
