Ivey is a 13-month old Terrier mix. She weighs about 34 pounds and is all black with white accents on her breast bone and slight bit of white on her rear. Ivey has a very sweet disposition and comes from a loving home.
Ivey was adopted from the Athens Georgia Humane Shelter last March by a young woman who was a senior at UGA. Since her graduation, Ivey’s mother found work in Atlanta and took an apartment with a roommate. Unfortunately, the combination of a heavy work schedule, apartment living, and the roommate have made Ivey’s situation less than ideal – what she really needs is to be re-homed to a place where she can have a yard to play in and not be crated during the day or sent at great expense to doggy day care.
SNAP recommends Ivey be in any type of home with a backyard where she can play, and lots of attention from a loving family – multiple people, children, other dogs and cats are all OK.
Like all SNAP pets, Ivey is spayed, up to date on shots and vaccinations, and microchipped. And ready to meet you at our adoption center at the Howell Mill Road PetSmart 7 days a week during normal store hours.
