We are bringing an affordable veterinary care clinic to the Cross Creek community on Saturday, June 10, 2017.

This one-day pet health clinic is co-sponsored by Dr. Karen Colson of Medlock Bridge Animal Hospital, SNAP 2 IT – a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue, spay/neuter, pet adoption and assistance organization – and Cross Creek’s Condominium Association Community Events Committee. All proceeds for this day are donated to SNAP to help fund our pet rescue efforts, spay/neuter programs, adoption, and community education services.

Finally, affordable, professional healthcare for your pet brought to your neighborhood – convenience and an affordable price – and peace of mind that your pet has been examined and given the best possible care to make his or her life with you both healthy and lasting for many years to come.

  • What: Affordable pet exams, testing, vaccinations & micro-chipping offered conveniently in your neighborhood
  • When: Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 10AM–4PM
  • Where: Adrian Clubhouse at Cross Creek. If possible, please park in the overflow lot across the street to avoid inconveniencing La Rue residents.

We ask that everyone pre-register so we can manage appointment times and avoid long waits – and we ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your appointment for sign-in and completion of paperwork.

In the State of Georgia micro-chipping is the best way to prove pet ownership. Having your pet micro-chipped is a quick and painless procedure that also can help ensure that your pet will find its way home and be returned to you in case he or she is lost or stolen. There is a $25 fee per animal that includes lifetime registration.  Please pre-register for micro-chipping and nail trimming services and arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time for sign-in and completion of paperwork.

What to Do on Clinic Day

We ask you keep all pets in carriers or on a leash at all times while you are at the clinic. In order to make the day go smoothly for everyone and to avoid any congestion or lines, we ask that if you are receiving veterinary services you remain at home or in your car until immediately before your scheduled appointment. This will help to minimize interactions between animals that may be stressed by the unfamiliar surroundings they might experience that day.

And That’s Not All…

Throughout the day we will be offering:

  • Lots of helpful literature and free advice
  • Consultation with an accredited Dog Trainer from the Howell Mill PetSmart
  • Free Stuff Give-a-ways
  • Cool Raffle Items
  • A specialist in canine CPR will be present to discuss canine CPR and upcoming educational opportunities with Cross Creek residents.

This pet health clinic promises to be a nice event for the community and great opportunity to get your pet looked at by a vet and brought up to date on all his or her vaccinations. It’s also a good opportunity to consult with a vet about any health concerns or questions you may have, so please feel free to ask.

See you there, rain or shine!
